Fish are caught in the bay,
the cafes are doing good.
Children play on the sand,
whilst the lady wears the hood!
She walks along with her cane,
in the left hand, sees the game.
Collides with a cup of tea,
by the benches at the sea.
Her trousers are denim and a woolly top.
She stops by the fudge shop.
Carrying her bags on her right arm,
buying produce from the local farm!
She gathers her bags in the street,
awaiting her friends, who she is to meet.
Whilst eyeing the gulls in the sky,
moving out the way for passers by.
In her bags is food for supper.
she walks in her lace uppers.
The sounds of the day ring in her ears,
laden with bags, the poor dear!
She awaits by the cafe,
in her denims and woolly tops.
They meet and have a coffee,
before going round the shops!
She chats to her friends,
one is on the mend,
after having the flu!
Will she come by you?
The end of the day comes now.
She pays the bill for the drinks.
One needs to go home to feed the sow,
Whilst the other needs to wash dishes in the sink!
She goes home and puts the shopping away.
Puts on the oven, whilst farmers lay hay.
In the basket are apples and pears,
she needs a rest now after the days wear and tare!
